They know it is evidence and do not want to send it back. I have challenged them on it and informed them I am in talks with trading standards and the counterfeit goods department and now they are holding my phone hostage. Why would anybody spend soooo much money on a phone with a non-genuine iPhone camera, battery and speakers? I have executed like-for-like comparisons tests of the picture quality, sound quality and battery health with a non-refurb iPhone xs and it has failed on all 3 levels.
They had completed their 'tests', however, they were testing none genuine parts that clearly worked to an extent but not at the quality of an iPhone. I sent it back under 'warranty several times and they said that nothing is wrong with it, several times. I complained over and over again that the camera wouldn't focus properly (as it struggled to balance the light input), that the battery was constantly over heating and the quality of the speakers was shocking. They had replaced the 3 main reasons why anyone buys an iPhone (the camera, speakers and battery) with fake cheap components. I bought an iPhone xs for over £500 and ultimately I bought a 'Shell' of an iPhone. This company sells counterfeit goods, it's as simple as that. WARNING!!!!!!! Please please please read this, so you don't end up spending a fortune on what you think are genuine products. WARNING!!!!!! Don't waste your hard earned money
